Heidi is a Clinical Social Worker, she specialises in Communication Skills, and has worked in both the corporate and NGO environment.

Her experience in the corporate environment has been in facilitation and training with a constant emphasis on communication. In the NGO environment Heidi specialised in Crisis Intervention and has worked with POWA (People Opposing Women Abuse), ARDA (The Alzheimer’s Association), The Multiple Sclerosis Association and Abangani Alexander Children’s Haven.

She started and managed the National Crisis Centres for both ARDA and The MS Society and was involved with the MS Society for 10 years. She has also been in private clinical practice.

She has three children at primary school, and believes being a mother has been both the greatest challenge and privilege of her life, it is also the aspect of her life that brings her the most joy.

Heidi plays tennis, walks, enjoys the outdoors - especially the beach, and is constantly planning her next holiday.
