Deshun Deysel
|
|
Deshun Deysel is the co-founder of SINIRGI International, a multi-disciplined,
innovative partnership, which improves business through aligning processes,
policies and people. She is also associate trainer/presenter for Business
Presentation Skills (BPS) SA and a member of the global TomorrowToday.biz
network.
Ms. Deysel holds a Higher Diploma in Education from Rand College and Rand
Afrikaans University and spent five years as a schoolteacher during which time
her dream to climb Mt. Everest was realised.

Deshun joined the I Can Foundation in 1996 - running youth development workshops
and women’s training programmes for two years. She then spent six years with
The Pacific Institute SA as a process facilitator and accreditor, as well as a
conference speaker at The Pacific Institute USA. Her experience in consulting
has been honed through interventions with multinationals and top 100 companies
in South Africa.
She has been on eleven major expeditions in the past 10 years, reaching a
personal record of 8 300m above sea level in Everest’s Death Zone.
Deshun Deysel is among South Africa’s top conference speakers and has addressed
audiences from all over the world over the past eleven years.
Deshun is a recipient of Four Outstanding Young South Africans Award (FOYSA)
in 1997. She is a Friend & Ambassador for the Laureus Sports for Good
Foundation and an active honorary member of the Golden Key International
Honour Society.
Among her short term dreams are:

Completing the Seven Summits (the highest mountain on seven continents)

Sailing the Cape to Rio Yacht Race to celebrate her 40th birthday.

She is currently completing an AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) licence with the
Johannesburg Skydiving Club.
